Architype UK were in bit of a pickle. Business was going very well and everyone was flat out producing great work. The pickle was, a solid client who regularly brought work into the practice, wanted three school projects underway PDQ. (Pretty Darn Quick!). Talk about putting the pressure on!
Pushed for available resources in the office, the directors took their search for assistance a little further. Searching the world for support with their architectural production capacity, they eventually found Black Pine Production Services in Whanganui, New Zealand.
With construction experience in Europe, the US & the UK, we were able to provide knowledgeable backing. With English as a first language and being qualified Architects, we understood the key issues and were able to quickly comprehend and respond to the accuracy demands of the project. Being 12 hours ahead, we were also able to provide a unique response to issues around time pressure. Between Skype calls and transfer of bulky documents & Revit models, the internet connection was running hot!
After the success of initial 3D Revit modelling, Black Pine was further engaged to prepare the General Arrangement (GA) drawing sets. This was undertaken for four buildings over the three schools, all completed to suit Architype standard set-ups.
